A breathtaking prairie meadow with its flowers blowing in the summer breeze, the splendor of your backyard garden in full bloom, or the first delicate tulip welcoming you into spring; all of these moments proclaim God’s glory in the world and bring joy to the heart.
Flowers are a gift to us from the heart of God. God’s glory shines through the brilliance of each individual flower and His love is seen in their intricate details. We smell the wonderful fragrance of the rose and feel the comfort it gives us, relax with a cup of hibiscus tea to help lower our blood pressure, and apply calendula to our skin to help heal and protect it. It is incredible to see the intricate details of each flower and how they help us in their own unique way.
We are also blessed with honey, a strawberry, and our morning cup of coffee; and we have these gifts because we first had flowers.
